His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Ruler of Dubai, has assessed the advancement of the AED500 million Al Mamzar beach development, integral to the broader AED3 billion Dubai Beaches initiative.

Accompanied by notable members of the royal family, including Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed, Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed, and Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed, along with leading officials from Dubai, his visit highlighted the project’s significance.

Sheikh Mohammed emphasized that this venture aligns with Dubai’s ambition to become the premier global city to reside in by 2040. He noted that the Dubai Beaches plan aims to augment beach capacity by 170% for both visitors and residents.

Spanning approximately 4 million square feet, the Al Mamzar Beaches project is projected to attract up to 7 million visitors annually upon its completion.

According to Dubai Municipality, this initiative will incorporate 35 contemporary service and leisure amenities, adhering to international quality standards. It will also ensure accessibility for individuals with determination.

One standout feature will be the world's first women's-only beach, operational 24/7, providing a secure environment for night swimming.

Additionally, the development will introduce a unique floating walkway at Al Mamzar Lagoon, accompanied by a waterfront dining venue and various leisure spots.

The project includes over 5.5 kilometers of pathways for walking, running, and cycling that will seamlessly connect Al Mamzar Lagoon with the corniche and Al Mamzar Beach Park, fostering a complete beachfront lifestyle.

Smart city innovations are also a priority, utilizing artificial intelligence and IoT tools to enhance safety, emergency reactions, and beach management.

Al Mamzar Lagoon Beach will encompass 2.75 million square feet, featuring a 300-meter zone for night swimming, sports sections, water activities, and shaded seating options. Meanwhile, the Al Mamzar Corniche will provide 1.25 million square feet of exclusive experiences, including a private beach for women, engaging art walkways, and versatile event venues.

Dubai Municipality is also seeking investments in retail, dining, water sports, and recreational offerings to promote private sector involvement.

To protect the coastline and enhance environmental sustainability, around 350,000 cubic meters of sand have been strategically utilized.

Officials reaffirmed that this project is integral to Dubai’s long-term strategy aimed at enriching the quality of life, stimulating tourism, and crafting sustainable beachfront destinations of international repute.

The Al Mamzar Beaches project is slated to open soon, positioning itself as one of Dubai’s premier family-friendly coastal attractions.
