Usman Nurmagomedov Dominates Paul Hughes in PFL Rematch Showdown

In the most anticipated fight on the PFL card, Usman Nurmagomedov (20-0-0, 1 NC) secured his twentieth professional victory by defeating Paul Hughes (14-3) via unanimous decision (50-45, 49-46, 48-47). The rematch, highly anticipated after their first encounter last January, showcased another intense battle between the two fighters.

“It wasn’t an easy fight, but we proved that Usman was better. We train hard all the time, that’s why we are the best team in the world,” said Khabib Nurmagomedov following the bout.

Hughes Shows Resilience but Falls Short

Paul Hughes entered the cage with vengeance, applying more pressure and showcasing a determined, enterprising style. Despite his efforts, Hughes could not dethrone the champion, as Usman Nurmagomedov imposed his wrestling throughout the five rounds.
