UAE and Lebanon Leaders Talk on Security and Strengthening Ties

In a recent phone call, President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan engaged with Lebanon’s President Joseph Aoun to discuss crucial matters concerning regional security, the state of bilateral relations, and ongoing efforts to enhance stability across the Middle East.

During their conversation, President Aoun reiterated Lebanon's firm stance against Iranian attacks on civilian targets in the UAE. He expressed unwavering solidarity with the Emirates and backed its efforts to safeguard its security, sovereignty, territory, and citizens.

The dialogue also highlighted the robust fraternal bonds between the UAE and Lebanon, with discussions aimed at furthering cooperation in various sectors to bolster development and prosperity for both nations.

Additionally, the two leaders addressed the latest developments in Lebanon, with Aoun commending the UAE’s ongoing support for the nation’s sovereignty and its people's aspirations for peace, security, and stability.
