Tom Cruise Celebrates Glen Powell’s ‘The Running Man’ Premiere

At the premiere of Glen Powell’s eagerly anticipated film, The Running Man, Tom Cruise showed his strong support, sharing his excitement with fans on Instagram.

The star of Mission: Impossible posted a joyful snapshot with Powell, each of them holding unique popcorn boxes branded with the movie title. He also shared a group image featuring director Edgar Wright and fellow cast members Coleman Domingo, Lee Pace, and Emilia Jones.

“Had another fantastic night at the movies with my friends! You all did such an amazing job, congratulations! I laughed, was thrilled, and indulged in way too much popcorn,” Cruise posted.

Echoing Cruise's enthusiasm, Glen Powell also shared similar visuals with a playful nod: “The Running Man featuring THE Running Man.”

This isn't Cruise's first time rallying behind Powell; he previously attended the London premiere of Twisters, prompting Powell to write: “When your wingman follows you into the storm.”

The duo collaborated on the hit film Top Gun: Maverick in 2022, which achieved a staggering worldwide box office gross of $1.5 billion.

About ‘The Running Man’

Diving into Stephen King’s narrative, The Running Man follows a man from a working-class background as he enters a lethal television contest to secure medical assistance for his ailing daughter. Contestants, referred to as Runners, need to endure 30 days while being chased by seasoned killers, with each broadcast thrilling the bloodthirsty audience and increasing rewards for every surviving day.

The Running Man is set to be released in theatres on November 14.
