French actor Tchéky Karyo, celebrated for his memorable roles in the cult film Nikita and the acclaimed television series The Missing, has passed away at the age of 72. Born in Istanbul in 1953, Karyo was the son of a Turkish father of Spanish-Jewish heritage and a Greek mother.
