Tanya Mittal's Past Comments Resurface with Ektaa Kapoor's TV Offer

Producer Ektaa Kapoor has once again turned to Bigg Boss contestants for her television productions, offering roles to Tanya Mittal and composer Amaal Mallik during a recent visit to the Bigg Boss 19 house. However, an old discussion from Tanya has come to light, where she expressed her preference for collaborating with emerging talent over established celebrities.

In a podcast from February, Tanya revealed she has multiple offers for movies and music videos but prefers to support others rather than focusing solely on her own success. “Chasing fame for its own sake would make me self-absorbed,” she stated.

When asked about her favorite directors, Tanya mentioned that many aspire to work with icons like Karan Johar or Sanjay Leela Bhansali. In contrast, she aims to collaborate with lesser-known directors who have talent but haven't had the chance to work with big stars. “I would gladly assist them for free,” she added. “My objective isn’t to seek wealth or recognition, but to uplift others.

Responses on Reddit were diverse, with individuals humorously questioning whether Tanya would turn down Ektaa Kapoor's offer for the sake of integrity or finance. Some criticized her, noting her dissatisfaction over having only 3.7 million followers on Instagram.

During this week's Weekend Ka Vaar, Ektaa Kapoor confirmed her intention to include both Amaal Mallik and Tanya Mittal in her project. Delighted, Tanya referred to the offer as a “dream come true.” Salman Khan teased her about portraying a low-income character, but Tanya joyfully celebrated the opportunity.

As the competition heats up with only two weeks remaining, contestants Malti Chahar, Shehbaz Badesha, Amaal Mallik, Gaurav Khanna, Pranit More, Tanya Mittal, and Farrhana Bhatt are hopeful to win the show.
