Veteran actor Dharmendra has successfully exited a hospital in Mumbai after receiving treatment earlier this week. His son, actor Sunny Deol, released an official notice on Wednesday morning, confirming this development and requesting that the family’s privacy be respected.

In his statement, Sunny mentioned that his father will be continuing his recovery at home, reassuring fans that the beloved actor is on the mend.

“Mr. Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his recovery at home. We kindly request the media and the public to refrain from any further speculation and to respect his and the family’s privacy during this time,” the note from Sunny Deol’s team read.

Sunny also expressed heartfelt thanks to fans and well-wishers for their prayers for Dharmendra’s health.

“We appreciate everyone’s love, prayers, and good wishes for his continued recovery, good health, and long life. Please respect him because he loves you,” concluded the note.

Hospital Confirms Discharge of Dharmendra

A doctor overseeing Dharmendra's care verified that he was discharged at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

“Dharmendra ji was discharged from the hospital around 7.30 am. He will be treated at home as the family has decided to continue his care there,” said the medical professional.

Family’s Response to Rumours

On Tuesday, false reports regarding Dharmendra’s death circulated online, raising concerns among fans. His wife, Hema Malini, and daughter Esha Deol promptly addressed the miscommunication via social media, clarifying that Dharmendra was indeed alive and recovering well.

During his hospital stay, the Deol family remained close by. Sunny and Bobby Deol, alongside Esha Deol, Abhay Deol, and Hema Malini, were regularly observed visiting him.

Support from Bollywood Stars

Several notable figures from the Bollywood industry visited the veteran actor while he was hospitalized. Stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan—accompanied by Aamir’s girlfriend Gauri Spratt—were seen at the hospital, showcasing their support and concern for the cherished star.
