Sunjay Kapur’s Birthday Honoured with Meal Drive for 2 Lakh Kids

To mark the birth anniversary of late businessman Sunjay Kapur, Sona Comstar, his automotive components company, organized a large-scale meal drive across India. Over 2 lakh schoolchildren were served meals on October 15 in cities including Delhi, Lucknow, and Varanasi.

Priya Sachdev’s Heartfelt Reaction

Priya Sachdev, Sunjay Kapur’s widow, shared her appreciation on Instagram. In her post, she wrote, “For his soul's peace, may love and kindness continue to nourish lives and his light live on through every child's smile.” The post featured images of children enjoying the meals and included a note thanking the company for the initiative.

In recent months, Priya has been embroiled in a legal dispute over Sunjay’s will. Karisma Kapoor’s children, Samaira and Kiaan, have accused her of forging the will, with Karisma acting as their legal guardian in the proceedings.

Sunjay Kapur, who passed away in June while playing polo in London, was the chairman of Sona Comstar, a leading auto parts manufacturer. He was married to Bollywood actor Karisma Kapoor from 2003 to 2016 and had two children, Samaira and Kiaan, with her. He married Priya Sachdev in 2017.
