Qatar’s Interior Chief Engages with US Envoy on Security Initiatives

HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Qatar's Interior Minister and head of the Internal Security Force, Lekhwiya, welcomed HE Tom Barrack, the US Special Envoy to Syria, at the National Command Center (NCC) in Doha. The focus of their meeting was on key matters of mutual interest, aimed at bolstering cooperation on both regional and international security issues.

Sheikh Khalifa took the opportunity to outline Qatar's security strategies and its dedicated efforts to uphold stability in the region.
