Ravie Dubey Discusses Ramayana: Ranbir Kapoor's On-Set Commitment

Filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari is embarking on an ambitious journey to bring the legendary Ramayana to cinemas in an unprecedented manner. In a recent conversation with Ranveer Allahbadia, Ravie Dubey, who takes on the role of Lakshman, shared insights about the atmosphere on set. He praised the seamless production process, characterized by timely schedules and thorough preparations, which he noted is uncommon for large film projects. “The sets of Ramayana operated with remarkable precision. Everyone was disciplined, well-prepared, and wholly dedicated to their characters,” Ravie remarked.
 
Ravie spoke candidly about the personal transformation his role demanded. “Portraying Lakshman necessitated a significant shift in my daily routines and behaviors for authenticity, as audiences can easily detect insincerity. All of us, including Ranbir Kapoor, adapted our lives to honor these iconic characters. It felt more like a spiritual undertaking than merely a film shoot,” he stated.
 
Ravie also recognized Ranbir Kapoor's extraordinary dedication, saying, “Ranbir possesses a remarkable aura. He is composed, elegant, and profoundly devoted. His gentle yet influential energy resonates with everyone nearby.” In contrast, he described Yash, who plays Ravana, as warm and approachable. “Both actors, while contrasting, are equally kind-hearted,” he noted.

Sunny Deol portrays Lord Hanuman with his dynamic charisma, while Sai Pallavi embodies Sita with elegance, and Yash brings depth to his portrayal of Ravana.
