US First Lady Melania Trump unveiled the first trailer of her Amazon documentary "Melania" on Wednesday. In the teaser, she stares directly at the camera and summarizes her husband Donald Trump's political comeback in just four words: "Here we go again."
The film will be available in theaters and on Prime Video starting January 30. The documentary captures the 20 days leading up to President Trump’s second inauguration, highlighting the transition planning, closed-door meetings, and private moments.
The trailer shows Melania moving through the White House and her private Florida residence in stylish, elegant outfits, while helping her husband prepare his speeches. In several scenes, she offers suggestions on his remarks and shares intimate moments from her personal life, such as placing a white flower at a gravesite.
The documentary offers a glimpse into both Melania Trump’s private and public life. Amazon claims the film provides "unprecedented access," including key meetings, travel moments, and photo shoots.
The film is directed by Brett Ratner, marking his first major project since multiple sexual misconduct allegations in 2017, which he has denied.
Reports indicate that Amazon’s licensing deal for the documentary is worth approximately $40 million, with Melania reportedly receiving 70% of that amount, which has sparked discussion.
"Melania" promises to give audiences the most intimate and detailed look yet at the First Lady’s life, revealing her relationship with her husband and the behind-the-scenes strategies of politics.
