Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan surprised fans today with a selfie alongside Hollywood legend Johnny Depp. The two met at the Red Sea Film Festival, which started on December 4 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and will end on December 13.
In the photo, Kartik shows his signature playful grin, while Johnny Depp looks relaxed in his iconic beanie and sunglasses, holding a cigar. Kartik captioned the photo, "Pirates of the Red Sea JackSparrow x RoohBaba, @johnnydepp," referencing their famous characters—Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean and Rooh Baba from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and 3.
Fans and celebrities reacted to the post with excitement. Choreographer Remo D’Souza posted red heart emojis, singer Sophie Choudry shared heart-eyed and raised-hands emojis, and actor Kunal Bakshi commented, “Wowww.”
On the work front, Kartik has multiple projects lined up. He will soon appear in the romantic comedy Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, starring Ananya Panday, Neena Gupta, Jackie Shroff, and Tiku Talsania, releasing on December 25.
He is also set to star in Naagzilla, playing a shape-shifting naag in a fantasy adventure, directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and produced by Dharma Productions and Mahaveer Jain Films.
