Dubai Police have rolled out an initiative aimed at fostering national pride and strengthening community ties by distributing UAE flags throughout various neighborhoods in the emirate.
Under the guidance of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the campaign named “Proud of UAE,” seeks to celebrate the nation’s identity and inspire residents to embrace a collective sense of belonging.
Around 800 UAE flags were handed out across significant residential zones, such as Al Marmoom, Margham, Al Awir, Lahbab, and Al Khawaneej, creating a prominent display of patriotism within these areas.
Led by the General Department of Logistic Support in collaboration with local police teams and partner organizations, this initiative emphasizes the vital role community efforts play in nurturing social connections and unity among residents.
Community members have welcomed the initiative, expressing that the flags’ presence throughout neighborhoods has significantly boosted the spirit of pride and unity. Authorities stressed that initiatives like these are essential in both celebrating national heritage and fostering shared values across Dubai.
