A significant move has been made by Dubai Chambers to enhance economic cooperation with Oman through key meetings in Sohar.
Led by H.E. Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO, the delegation ventured into the North Al Batinah Governorate to investigate ways to boost bilateral trade.
During their visit, they engaged in discussions with the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry – North Al Batinah Branch. The talks aimed at strengthening ties between Dubai and Sohar's business sectors, particularly in vital priority areas. Both parties were keen on unlocking significant opportunities and promoting sustainable trade growth.
Additionally, the delegation explored SOHAR Port and Freezone and Sohar Industrial City (Madayn), where they deliberated on enhancing the efficiency of goods movement and logistics integration between the regions.
In remarks made during the visit, H.E. Lootah emphasized Dubai Chambers’ dedication to fostering robust partnerships in key global markets. He pointed out that improving logistics connectivity could unveil new economic collaboration avenues while cementing bilateral trade stability.
