Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar continues to break records at the Indian box office, inching closer to the prestigious Rs 600 crore club. After an impressive 17-day run, the film earned around Rs 16 crore on its 18th day (December 22), pushing its total domestic collection to approximately Rs 571.75 crore, according to trade tracker Sacnilk.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar has quickly become one of the highest-grossing Indian films of all time. It recently overtook Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal (Rs 553 crore) to claim the 10th spot in the list of top domestic net grossers. The film also surpassed the lifetime collections of major 2024 hits like Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 (Rs 525 crore) and Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan (Rs 543 crore). Notably, Dhurandhar achieved these milestones without the advantage of dubbed versions, which played a significant role in boosting collections for films like Pathaan and Animal.

The movie opened with a strong weekend haul of Rs 103 crore, earning Rs 28 crore on Friday, Rs 32 crore on Saturday, and Rs 43 crore on Sunday. The momentum continued through the weekdays with Rs 23.25 crore on Monday and Rs 27 crore on Tuesday, crossing Rs 150 crore in just five days. With Rs 27 crore collections on both Wednesday and Thursday, the first-week total reached Rs 207.25 crore.

The second weekend proved even stronger, with Rs 53 crore on Saturday and Rs 58 crore on Sunday. Weekdays saw steady earnings — Rs 30.5 crore on Monday, Rs 30 crore on Tuesday, Rs 25.5 crore on Wednesday, and Rs 23 crore on Thursday. By December 18, the cumulative total had reached Rs 555.75 crore.

The third weekend added Rs 22.5 crore on Friday, Rs 34.25 crore on Saturday, and Rs 38.5 crore on Sunday. Although the third Monday showed a slight dip with Rs 16 crore, the film remains a blockbuster hit with domestic earnings of Rs 571.75 crore.

Dhurandhar features Ranveer Singh in the lead, supported by a strong ensemble including Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi. The film’s gripping action, powerful performances, and compelling storyline have won hearts across India.

Capitalizing on this success, the makers have already announced a sequel set for release on March 19, 2026. With such a massive box office run, Dhurandhar is poised to join the elite Rs 600 crore club soon, further cementing Ranveer Singh’s status as a top Bollywood superstar.
