The film will be available for streaming on JioHotstar starting 16th October.

OTT Release Announcement

JioHotstar confirmed the release via Instagram, sharing the movie poster with the caption:

"Death runs in the family. Final Destination: Bloodlines streaming 16th October onwards in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu only on JioHotstar."

Fans who missed the theatrical release now have the chance to experience the franchise’s signature tense and thrilling sequences from the comfort of their homes.

About the Film

Directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein, and written by Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor, Final Destination: Bloodlines features Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Anna Lore, Brec Bassinger, and Tony Todd in pivotal roles.

The story follows college student Stefani Reyes, who inherits haunting visions from her dying grandmother, Iris. These visions, linked to a 1968 premonition that prevented a deadly skyscraper collapse, warn that “Death is coming for their family.” Stefani must then face a relentless battle against fate itself, navigating terrifying and unpredictable sequences that define the franchise.

Box Office Success and Reception

Upon release, Final Destination: Bloodlines earned widespread acclaim from critics and audiences alike. The film grossed an impressive ₹2,430 crore worldwide, making it the highest-grossing installment in the series.

Critics praised its mix of horror, humor, and inventive death sequences. The Hindustan Times review noted:

"What works the most for Final Destination Bloodlines is its refusal to ever take itself seriously. The campy feel, which horror lost a decade ago, is what makes it great. From references to horror tropes to hilarious red herrings and clever jokes, the humor is macabre but never sick. Yet, you may question your own morality as you laugh or marvel at gruesome demises—but that is the beauty of this franchise. Death has never looked more entertaining and stunning than in Bloodlines."
