Baseer Ali Reflects on Friendship Fallout With Nehal Chudasama After Bigg Boss 19

Bigg Boss 19 delivered its share of alliances, tensions and heartfelt moments — and among the show's most discussed dynamics was the relationship between actor Baseer Ali and model Nehal Chudasama. Yet, now that both have left the house, the warmth between them seems to have cooled.

In a recent conversation, Baseer, who rose to fame through shows like Kundali Bhagya, admitted he was wounded after watching snippets of Nehal talking unfavourably about him off-camera. The experience has prompted him to create distance for the time being.

“I came across several clips where Nehal — who called herself my friend — didn’t stand up for me. There were moments when Farhana said things I didn’t like, and Nehal stayed quiet,” Baseer revealed, describing his disappointment.

He added that the feeling of being let down stung more because he had trusted those bonds while inside the house.

“Toh yeh dono (Nehal aur Farhana) jab mere dost the aur mere peechhe aisi baatein chal rahi thi, toh phir woh dosti kaise boli jaaye? Main dono se thoda upset hoon... aur Nehal ke saath main abhi gussa hoon, isliye doori banana chahunga aur waqt lunga,” he said, explaining his need for space.

Baseer also spoke about how his mother reacted to his relationships with Nehal and fellow contestant Farhana Bhatt during their time on the show.

He explained,

“Meri maa ne Farhana aur Nehal dono ke baare mein ache alfaaz kahe. Lekin unhe woh angles dekhkar acha nahi laga jo mere aur unke beech dikhaye gaye the,” he said, pointing to how perception at home differed from on-screen moments.

According to Baseer, his mother enjoyed the lighter, more playful moments he shared with Farhana, but felt uneasy about the way his interactions with Nehal were framed.

“Meri maa ko Farhana ke saath jo masti bhare pal lage woh pasand aaye. Magar Nehal ke angle ko lekar unhe kuch khaas acha nahi laga,” he elaborated, noting the contrast in reactions.

After their exits, social media users observed that Baseer and Nehal had unfollowed one another on Instagram, which fans read as a sign their friendship had strained. The situation intensified when Nehal reshared a fan post critical of Baseer, adding fuel to the speculation.

Once close inside the Bigg Boss house, sharing laughs and emotional support, the two now appear to be navigating a rough patch. Baseer’s remarks suggest the friendship may need time to heal, if it heals at all.
