Ashlesha Savant Ties the Knot with Sandeep Baswana in Vrindavan

Actors Ashlesha Savant and Sandeep Baswana have united in matrimony through a serene, traditional ceremony, marking over two decades of companionship. They revealed their wedding on social media with beautiful photographs that offer fans an intimate look into their special day.

On Sunday, the couple shared a post highlighting cherished moments from their wedding. Ashlesha donned an elegant pink saree while Sandeep looked dapper in a baby pink kurta-pyjama paired with a stylish jacket. They expressed their joy at beginning a new chapter as husband and wife, filled with gratitude for their blessings.

The ceremony took place on November 16 at the Chandrodaya Temple in Vrindavan, attended by only close family members. This setting held immense personal significance for the couple, as they felt a spiritual bond during a recent visit to the Radha Krishna temples, prompting them to formalize their commitment after 23 years. Sandeep noted that their families had looked forward to this moment and were keen on keeping the event simple yet traditional.

Their romantic journey began on the set of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi back in 2002, where Ashlesha portrayed Teesha Mehta Virani and Sandeep took on the role of Sahil Virani. Their friendship blossomed, especially since Ashlesha frequently visited Sandeep’s home to avoid a long commute. Over the years, their bond deepened into a loving partnership, leading to them living together.

On the professional front, Ashlesha currently stars in the TV drama Jhanak alongside Hiba Nawab, Krushal Ahuja, Riya Sharma, Arjit Taneja, Twinkle Arora, and Rajveer Singh. She previously gained recognition for her role as Barkha in Anupamaa. As for Sandeep, he was last seen in Apollena – Sapno Ki Unchi Udann in 2024 and has yet to disclose his next project.
