Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Yamahi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament, expressed strong condemnation of the missile and drone assaults from Iran against the United Arab Emirates, labeling them as “hostile and terroristic actions” that jeopardize peace and stability in the region.

In a statement released on Saturday, Al Yamahi emphasized that these attacks denote a severe escalation and a blatant breach of international law, the UN Charter, and core principles of good relations between nations. He cautioned that such actions are a direct threat to Arab national security and raise tensions within the area.

The Speaker pointed out that Iran’s continual attacks demonstrate a hostile strategy aimed at fostering unrest and threatening the security of the Middle East. He emphasized that these actions endanger both regional and global peace and stability.

Al Yamahi affirmed that the Arab Parliament stands in complete support of the UAE in any initiatives taken to safeguard its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. He reiterated that the UAE's security is integral to the broader national security of Arab nations.

He called upon the international community and the United Nations Security Council to enact prompt and decisive measures against these assaults, urging global leaders to adopt a deterrent approach to halt ongoing Iranian infringements and ensure the safety and stability of Arab nations.

The statement underscored the Arab Parliament’s commitment to the UAE and its unwavering support for ventures aimed at safeguarding citizens, residents, and national infrastructure from emerging security threats.
