Anupam Kher and Ajinkya Rahane's Flight Adventure Takes a Scary Turn

Renowned Bollywood star Anupam Kher recently shared a riveting travel tale alongside Indian cricketer Ajinkya Rahane that took an unexpected turn. The actor took to social media on Monday to unveil a video of their flight from Delhi to Mumbai.

In the video, Anupam recounted a harrowing experience when, after touching down, the aircraft bizarrely lifted off once more, leaving passengers in a state of alarm. “It was fantastic to travel with you from Delhi to Mumbai! I’ve always held you in high regard as a player, but your humility and grace as a person truly struck me! I apologize; my language was perfectly fine until our plane made an unanticipated ascent!” he expressed.

With a humorous twist, he added, “That intense moment turned me into a less than gentlemanly figure, and some rather colorful Hindi exclamations escaped my lips! But on the bright side, this event will ensure we’ll remember each other for more than just cricket! Sending love and prayers! Jai Hind!”

In his video, Anupam praised Rahane, stating, “You are an exceptional person, and our experience was unforgettable. The plane landed and then took off again. Regardless of this, my admiration for you remains—though I’ll now never forget this incident. Aap toh bade brave ho, bahot kuch hua mere saath. You are not only a remarkable player but also a great human being. Wishing you and your family the best!” Rahane responded graciously, referencing it as a “lovely meeting.”

Rahane was in Mumbai to participate in the 78th Police Invitation Shield Cricket Tournament, where he took part in a recognition ceremony alongside senior members of the Mumbai Police and the Mumbai Cricket Association.

On a side note, Anupam Kher is gearing up for several upcoming projects, including an untitled film with Prabhas directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, as well as a collaboration with celebrated director Sooraj Barjatya, set to be his 549th film.
