2026 Toyota bZ EV Unveiled with Sleek Design More Power & Range

Toyota’s all-electric SUV, now simply known as the bZ, is making waves in the EV market with a refreshed design, improved performance, and an expanded suite of features for 2026. Leveraging Toyota’s decades of experience in electrification, the bZ aims to combine style, reliability, and practicality for today’s drivers.

Exterior Refresh and Standout Styling

The 2026 bZ introduces a sleeker, more distinctive look while maintaining its signature identity. The front fascia features slim LED accent lights, a hammerhead-shaped design, and redesigned overfenders. The low hood enhances forward visibility, and the side profile showcases a long wheelbase and flowing silhouette. Rear styling emphasizes a wide stance with integrated tail lamps.

Key exterior features include:

• Auto-levelling LED headlamps and LED rear combination lamps

• Rain-, mist-, and moisture-sensing wipers with deicers

• Power-adjustable heated mirrors with puddle lights

• Available two-tone paint schemes and multiple colour options

Spacious and Tech-Forward Interior

Inside, the bZ accommodates up to five adults in a quiet, roomy cabin with generous legroom and side-to-side space. The 2026 model introduces:

• Two wireless phone charging docks

• 14-inch Toyota Multimedia touchscreen

• 64-colour customizable ambient lighting

• Heated Softex-trimmed steering wheel

• Dual-zone automatic climate control

The rear seats fold 60/40 to maximize cargo capacity, while premium materials and a refined console design elevate the interior experience.

Enhanced Performance, Range, and Charging

Toyota engineers have boosted the bZ’s performance with larger batteries and improved eAxles:

• XLE AWD: 77-kWh battery, up to 468 km range, 338 hp, 0-100 km/h in 5.1 seconds

• Limited AWD: 436 km range with advanced off-road capabilities

• XLE FWD: 57.7-kWh battery, 380 km range

Charging upgrades include a North American Charging System (NACS) DC port for high-speed access, Level 1 & 2 AC charging, and a thermal management system to maintain fast charging in cold conditions.

Advanced Driving Features and Safety

The bZ combines performance with Toyota’s renowned safety suite, Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, including:
