In a strategic initiative, the UAE Cyber Security Council (CSC) has teamed up with CPX Holding to introduce the ‘UAE Cyber Factory’, aimed at fortifying the nation’s cybersecurity landscape and furthering its digital ambitions.
This innovative project is designed to boost the UAE’s capacity to identify, mitigate, and respond to escalating cyber threats that endanger governmental bodies, enterprises, and individuals alike. Reports indicate the UAE is facing an overwhelming average of over 800,000 cyberattacks each day.
Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, who oversees cyber security for the UAE Government, remarked that the inception of the UAE Cyber Factory signifies a pivotal advancement in establishing the nation as a leading center for cutting-edge cybersecurity innovations.
He emphasized that the UAE is dedicated not just to shielding its digital framework but also to pioneering sophisticated technologies capable of swiftly and effectively addressing cyber threats.
The Cyber Factory will prioritize the architecture and evolution of next-generation cybersecurity solutions fueled by artificial intelligence (AI), which are poised to empower the UAE in tackling rapidly evolving cyber risks with enhanced precision and speed.
Moreover, the initiative will cultivate a wholly sovereign cybersecurity infrastructure, ensuring the UAE retains complete control over its cyber capabilities. This move is expected to bolster the nation’s digital autonomy and readiness against prospective cyber challenges.
This collaboration underscores the UAE Cyber Security Council and CPX’s commitment to realizing the country’s ambition of fostering competitive global cybersecurity solutions originating from within the UAE.
Hadi Anwar, CEO of CPX, stated that the UAE Cyber Factory is a crucial step towards cultivating a robust cybersecurity landscape for the future, enhancing local expertise and innovation.
