Post by : Bianca Hayes

In Al Arish, Egypt, the UAE Floating Hospital has welcomed two more patients from the Gaza Strip through the Rafah border crossing, aiming to provide necessary medical treatment. This initiative is part of the UAE’s ongoing humanitarian mission, Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, designed to assist Palestinians amidst the continuing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Following the arrival of the latest patients, the UAE Floating Hospital has now treated a total of 85 cases since the Rafah crossing reopened in February.

Medical staff at the facility quickly started performing examinations and health assessments to guarantee each patient is treated according to international medical standards.

The UAE Floating Hospital is essential in providing medical aid to Palestinian patients from Gaza, offering a variety of healthcare services that include check-ups, diagnoses, surgeries, physiotherapy, and dialysis treatments.

An experienced Emirati medical and administrative team is in charge of the hospital, supplemented by an Indonesian medical crew. Healthcare services are available around the clock to effectively manage diverse medical cases and ensure continuous patient care.

Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 is part of the UAE’s wider humanitarian efforts to support the Palestinian community and alleviate suffering amid the ongoing crisis in Gaza.
