The United Arab Emirates has voiced its strong disapproval of the missile and drone strikes launched by Iran against Kuwait, labeling them as grave violations of international legislation and Kuwait’s sovereignty.

In an official pronouncement from the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the nation characterized these attacks as a “blatant violation” of Kuwait’s territorial integrity, posing a significant threat to its safety and the stability of the region as a whole.

The UAE underscored that such acts disrupt peace efforts within the region and escalate tensions at a time when calmness is vital for all Gulf states. Additionally, it firmly rejected any form of aggression that jeopardizes national safety or disturbs the region's peace.

Further, the declaration reinforced the UAE’s complete support for Kuwait and its leadership, government, and citizenry. It expressed backing for all necessary actions Kuwait may adopt to ensure its security, defend its airspace, and uphold stability.

This statement of condemnation followed Kuwait’s armed forces' announcement that they successfully thwarted several hostile missiles and drones aimed at entering its airspace. The military confirmed that these attacks were neutralized before inflicting significant damage.

Kuwaiti officials remain vigilant as security forces continue to assess the situation, probing into the origin and motives behind the strikes.

The UAE reiterated that ensuring security and stability across the Gulf region is a collaborative responsibility, urging for restraint to prevent further escalation.
