The United Arab Emirates was actively engaged in the GLOBSEC Forum 2026, which took place in Prague, Czech Republic, from May 21 to 23, with a prominent delegation led by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Lana Zaki Nusseibeh represented the UAE in various high-profile discussions regarding international security, defense, technology, and the evolving global landscape. This involvement underscores the UAE's dedication to fostering international cooperation and dialogue.
At the forum, Nusseibeh conducted multiple bilateral meetings with senior officials from Europe and beyond to fortify ties, explore collaborative opportunities, and discuss pressing regional and global matters.
In discussions with Anita Orbán, both leaders underscored the strengthening relationship between the UAE and Hungary, focusing on enhancing collaboration in areas such as trade, investment, energy transition, cutting-edge technology, artificial intelligence, and defense. They also tackled significant international and regional topics.
Additionally, Nusseibeh met with Ferit Hoxha to discuss deepening cooperation with Albania, covering infrastructure, renewable energy, innovation, and tourism, as well as joint efforts in international platforms. Their talks also addressed unfolding events in the Middle East and initiatives to promote regional security and stability.
