The Klang Valley, encompassing Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, and Putrajaya, is projected to face significant impacts. Residents are urged to be vigilant and consider minimizing outdoor activities during severe weather intervals.
Additionally, various states throughout Peninsular Malaysia, including Perlis, Kedah, Penang, and Perak, are under similar warnings. Storms are likely to form rapidly and could persist for over an hour at various sites.
The eastern states of Kelantan, Terengganu, and Pahang are also experiencing erratic weather patterns. Meanwhile, southern states such as Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, and Johor are expected to encounter comparable conditions of heavy precipitation and strong winds.
In East Malaysia, regions like Sarawak and Sabah are likewise included in the alert. Locations such as Kuching, Sibu, Bintulu, Kota Kinabalu, and Tuaran may see thunderstorms during this period.
Labuan will not be spared, facing unstable weather throughout the day as well. Officials recommend that the public stay informed through official channels and avoid unnecessary journeys during adverse weather.
