Tere Ishk Mein continued its impressive momentum at the domestic box office, earning an estimated ₹10.25 crore on Day 5, taking its total India net collection to around ₹71 crore across all languages. Led by Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, the film has emerged as one of the month’s strongest performers, maintaining audience interest despite mid-week fluctuations.
The film’s run began with ₹16 crore on Friday, followed by ₹17 crore on Saturday and a peak ₹19 crore on Sunday. Monday saw a predictable dip to ₹8.75 crore, but the film quickly bounced back with a surprising jump on Tuesday, driven by strong word-of-mouth. The Hindi version continues to contribute the most, while the Tamil version holds steady, giving the film a solid multi-language base.
Tere Ishk Mein is also outperforming Dhanush’s earlier 2025 release Idli Kadai, which collected around ₹50 crore in India. It now targets the benchmark set by Kuberaa, which earned ₹91 crore nationwide. With current trends, the Aanand L. Rai directorial is on track to surpass that figure and become Dhanush’s biggest hit of the year.
Directed by Aanand L. Rai, the film explores a turbulent love story filled with obsession, longing, and emotional intensity. Dhanush’s powerful performance and Kriti Sanon’s impactful presence have been widely appreciated. A review highlighted, “Dhanush is terrific, portraying Shankar’s emotional shifts with remarkable depth. His chemistry with Kriti Sanon adds to the film’s impact. Kriti shines once again, bringing nuance and strength to a complex role.”
