In a statement, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim commended Tabung Haji for this exceptional feat, stating that it reflects Malaysia's unwavering commitment to ensuring the welfare and safety of its pilgrims during their sacred journey. The Prime Minister acknowledged the hard work and professionalism exhibited by Tabung Haji staff and Haj officials, who devote themselves to offering comprehensive assistance to pilgrims throughout their spiritual quest. Presented annually, the Labbaitom Award is given by Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Haj and Umrah to organizations that excel in managing pilgrim affairs. Securing this award for five consecutive years showcases Malaysia’s excellence in operational planning, logistical management, healthcare provision, accommodation setup, and welfare services for pilgrims.

Additionally, Amal by Malaysia Airlines has also been recognized with the Misk Al-Khitam Award for its outstanding performance in streamlining pilgrim arrival processes during the 1447H Haj season. The award highlights the airline's commitment to ensuring smooth transit and welcoming experiences for Malaysian pilgrims arriving in the holy cities.
