During the tour, His Highness explored various development initiatives and strategic implementations spearheaded by Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, particularly emphasizing crime prevention strategies, narcotics control, and the integration of artificial intelligence within the Safe City System.
Officials provided insights into how AI technology is being embedded into policing practices to enhance operational efficiency, analyze data trends, and anticipate criminal activities. This innovative approach not only aims to minimize traffic-related fatalities but also fosters better cooperation among security agencies and strategic partners.
His Highness was also briefed on the Security Incident Management System, which bolsters cooperation among relevant entities during emergencies and security crises. The framework is engineered to quicken decision-making and amplify field response efficacy while upholding superior standards of readiness and professionalism.
Additionally, His Highness received a comprehensive briefing from the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Centre regarding emergency preparedness measures and collaborative initiatives with strategic allies. The discussion spotlighted readiness protocols for adverse weather conditions in the Al Ain Region, alongside proactive strategies aimed at enhancing response times and safeguarding lives and property.
His Highness also inspected field operations at civil defense centers run by the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority. Officials detailed the authority’s readiness to tackle emergency calls and incidents, while sharing ongoing efforts to boost public safety and response latency.
A presentation was given on modern coordination strategies between civil defense teams and essential authorities. The briefing showcased the implementation of smart technologies and contemporary systems to facilitate rescue, firefighting, and ambulance operations, ensuring swift emergency intervention.
Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan emphasized the critical need to expand the scope of advanced technologies and AI tools across the policing and emergency sectors. He remarked on the vital role these initiatives play in safeguarding lives and property, improving preventive measures, and heightening the overall efficacy of security services, aligned with global best practices.
