The news has left her fans worried, but also hopeful, as fellow actor Karan Veer Mehra shared an update showing her smiling and joking, even while lying on a hospital bed.

Karan jokingly said, “Yeh dekho bechari… what has happened to her?” while showing her bandaged hand. Shehnaaz, trying to hide her face, smiled and said, “Hasa rha hai mujhe,” which means, “He’s making me laugh.” She even joked that she will be back soon and might go out to party when she feels better.

Karan ended the video by asking all her fans to pray for her recovery. “I need you guys to pray really hard that this girl, with full energy, gets back as soon as possible,” he said warmly.
