Partners Forum Ceremony in Sharjah Celebrates Judicial Innovations

His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Judicial Council, graced the Partners Forum ceremony at the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park.

The event commenced with the UAE national anthem, followed by a solemn recitation from the Holy Quran, establishing a respectful atmosphere among distinguished officials and judicial figures.

Judge Dr Mohammed Obaid Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Judicial Department, conveyed the ongoing evolution of Sharjah’s judicial framework, echoing the vision set forth by His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi. He underscored the rule of law as essential for safeguarding rights and delivering justice.

He further elaborated that significant modernization efforts have enhanced operational efficiency and improved judicial service quality, aligning with the emirate’s strategic objectives.

Al Kaabi emphasized the shift toward a modernized “Digital Justice” framework, in which sophisticated digital litigation systems revolutionize conventional judicial processes, prioritizing user experience and increasing accessibility, speed, and transparency.

He noted that this pivotal transformation was facilitated by robust collaboration among internal teams and strategic partners, turning operational hurdles into innovative digital solutions.

Strategic Vision for Future Developments

The Judicial Department unfolded its future blueprint, centered around “Judicial Foresight,” aimed at embracing emerging technologies and strengthening inter-institutional cooperation, ensuring excellence in service delivery within the judicial landscape.

Key Milestones and Collaborations

A presentation highlighted significant milestones, including the establishment of 14 internal working groups to boost operational efficiency. It also emphasized extensive collaboration with federal and local bodies to foster knowledge sharing, digital advancement, and talent development.

Additionally, several agreements reinforcing institutional partnerships were signed.

Inauguration of the Digital Rental Disputes Platform

A notable highlight was the Deputy Ruler's launch of the Digital Rental Disputes Platform, aimed at digitizing rental conflict resolution procedures. This platform facilitates virtual hearings and secure management of judicial rulings in a fully digital environment.

Developed in partnership with the “Aqari” platform from the Sharjah Digital Department, this marks a significant stride in judicial digital transformation.

Positive Indicators in the Rental Market

The forum presented optimistic statistics for 2025, revealing over 360,000 registered rental contracts, indicative of robust real estate activity in the emirate. The Rental Disputes Centre reported successfully resolving over 15,000 disputes, showcasing enhanced efficacy in mediation.

Tribute to Strategic Collaborators

The ceremony concluded with recognitions for strategic partners and supporting organizations, acknowledging their vital roles in judicial advancement. Commemorative shields were awarded to promote ongoing collaboration in strengthening Sharjah’s governmental framework.
