Ravie Dubey, an actor and producer, has shared his enthusiasm for being part of the much-awaited film Ramayana, which features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama. In a recent interview during the International Film Festival of India (IFFI), he described this opportunity as not only a blessing but also a remarkable chance to be associated with such a significant narrative.
“Participating in this film is like receiving a divine gift. I feel lucky to contribute to the Ram Katha story,” he expressed. “This is a significant blessing, and I am profoundly thankful and happy for this chance.”
In the film, Ravie will take on the role of Laxman. Back in July, he shared a glimpse of his character on social media, writing, “It is the greatest honor of my life to be part of a narrative that has inspired generations. Welcome to Namit Malhotra’s Ramayana, the timeless tale of Rama vs Ravana. I am grateful to traverse this path alongside all of you. Let's celebrate this moment and together enter the realm of Ramayana. Our Truth. Our History.”
The film features an impressive ensemble cast. Alongside Ranbir Kapoor as Rama, Yash will portray Ravana, with notable actors such as Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Arun Govil, and Kunal Kapoor also appearing. Fans are eagerly anticipating how this contemporary adaptation of the ancient epic will come to life on the big screen.
In addition to his acting career, Ravie and his wife Sargun Mehta have recently embarked on a production journey. After over ten years in the television space, they have established their own production company, Dreamiyata Entertainment.
