The General Secretariat of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has firmly denounced the ongoing assaults on the State of Kuwait, labeling them as egregious violations of the nation's sovereignty and security.
In an official communiqué, the OIC stated that these attacks contravene international law as well as the United Nations Charter. The organisation cautioned that such actions not only jeopardize civilian safety but also endanger regional security and stability.
The OIC stressed that any assault on Kuwait disrupts the collective efforts aimed at sustaining peace in the region. It urged adherence to international laws that protect national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Reiterating its unwavering support for Kuwait, the OIC affirmed its solidarity with the country and endorsed all actions taken by Kuwaiti authorities to ensure national security, territorial integrity, and stability.
The organisation also highlighted the crucial need to protect civilians and prevent actions that could escalate tensions or instability in the region.
