The S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University has introduced a series of groundbreaking educational textbooks for the academic institutions throughout Turkmenistan. These recently published works have received approval from the Ministry of Education and benefit from the backing of the Turkmen State Publishing Service.
According to university representatives, these textbooks aim to advance contemporary agricultural education and enhance the quality of higher education within economics, accounting, veterinary sciences, and animal welfare. They are anticipated to aid both instructors and students enrolled in specialized academic tracks.
A standout publication among the new offerings is titled “Sectoral Accounting and Analysis.” Authored by professors Orazsoltan Halmyradova, Ogulsuray Godekova, Dayanchmyrat Murrikov, and Maksat Jumayev, this textbook delves into financial and economic practices within both agricultural and industrial domains, emphasizing accounting techniques and economic assessment.
In alignment with the National Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan for 2022–2052, the university explains that the book is structured into two comprehensive sections covering various topics, including accounting frameworks, financial documentation, industry costs, economic analysis strategies, labor resources, agricultural output, and finance management techniques.
Additionally, another significant textbook titled “Zoohygiene,” authored by Associate Professor and Veterinarian Tore Garlyev, has been introduced. This work centers on the importance of animal hygienics, veterinary science principles, environmental standards, and livestock health management. It discusses advanced methodologies for enhancing animal welfare, productivity, and preventing diseases within modern agricultural practices.
The text includes in-depth sections on hygiene protocols for various animals such as horses, cattle, camels, dogs, and poultry. Furthermore, it addresses the management of the renowned Akhal-Teke breed, veterinary laws, animal transportation safety, and up-to-date stable technologies utilized in the industry.
University officials conveyed that these new academic works promise to be essential resources for students pursuing studies in veterinary medicine, agricultural economics, accounting, and livestock science. They are also expected to equip future professionals with the essential skills required to modernize Turkmenistan’s agricultural and veterinary fields.
The release of these educational materials underscores the nation’s ongoing commitment to enhancing higher learning and bolstering scientific research in agriculture and animal sciences. Authorities are optimistic that enhancing educational resources will contribute significantly to the sustained growth of the agricultural sector and facilitate the development of highly skilled professionals for the future.
