Kicking off on 1 January and running through 31 January, Muscat Nights 2026 presents an exciting lineup of entertainment, cultural experiences, sports, and economic activities throughout the Muscat Governorate. The event aims to create a dynamic urban atmosphere, inviting families and tourists from all corners of the region.
Activities will unfold across various venues, including Al Qurum Natural Park, Al Amerat Public Park, Oman Automobile Association, and the Royal Opera House Muscat. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy festivities in diverse settings.
The heart of Muscat Nights 2026 is embodied in “Siraj,” a shining Omani child who smoothly travels through the city's skies. Siraj plays a pivotal role in the event's narrative and artistic theme, enchanting families and young visitors both local and from abroad.
Al Qurum Natural Park will host an impressive fountain and light show that integrates art with technology, featuring water displays harmonized to music. Daily circus performances at the Oman Automobile Association will include acrobatic stunts, aerial displays, holographic effects, and engaging children with activities revolving around art, astronomy, and educational games.
Visitors can enjoy family-oriented activities such as drone exhibitions at Al Qurum, “Masha and the Bear” shows, thrilling rides, daily parades, and entertainment from both local and international artists. Sporting events covering cycling, football, volleyball, basketball, martial arts, and adrenaline-pumping activities like drifting, zip-lining, and fitness sessions will also take place at A’Seeb Beach.
Muscat Nights 2026 will spotlight Omani traditions through heritage villages at Al Amerat and Al Qurum, illustrating local crafts, folk art, cuisine, and architecture. Al Khuwair Square will also be hosting Oman Design Week, featuring innovative artistic displays and interactive designs, while the Royal Opera House will showcase fashion week events that blend international flair with local cultural identity.
