Modernization of Junda Oil Refinery Under Government Scrutiny

The Kyrgyz Republic is diligently working to enhance its energy and industrial sectors through the Junda oil refinery's modernization, located in Kara-Balta, Chui Region. On May 7, 2026, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, Erlist Akunbekov, visited the facility to review ongoing modernization efforts and future industrial development initiatives.
