Khushi Kapoor, the daughter of Boney Kapoor and the late Sridevi, marked her 25th birthday on Wednesday with a warm, pink-hued celebration. Sharing glimpses on Instagram, she showcased a set-up crowned by a large “25” display and a “Happy Birthday Khushi” sign surrounded by an abundance of balloons.
Photographs show Khushi in soft pink silk sleepwear, taking selfies with friends — among them actress Shanaya Kapoor — as guests embraced the rosy dress code. One tender, candid image captures her laughing while brushing cake from her nose, a playful moment from the festivities.
The menu for the gathering leaned gourmet, featuring items like Hummus bouquet, Buratta papdi chaat, Brie Bao, Caviar Blinis, Lob Spring Rolls, and Buffalo Chicks. Under one of the photos Khushi wrote, “25 feeling grateful, happy and hopeful.” Friends and family including Shanaya Kapoor, Anjini Dhawan, Maheep Kapoor and Bhavana Pandey left warm messages.
Professionally, Khushi — known for roles in The Archies, Nadaaniyan and Loveyapa — is said to be preparing for Mom 2, a sequel to her late mother’s 2017 film Mom. Reportedly produced by Boney Kapoor and directed by Girish Kohli, the project will pair her with Scoop actress Karishma Tanna. Filming reportedly began on October 26, just after Diwali.
