Kandi Burruss, a former star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and her spouse Todd Tucker are officially parting ways after 11 years of marriage.
In her statement, Burruss expressed, "After careful consideration and much prayer, I’ve decided to proceed with a divorce. This is a challenging and emotional chapter, but my priority is to safeguard my peace, be the best mother possible, and engage in loving co-parenting. I look forward to focusing on my work, family, and personal development. I appreciate the support we've received over the years and request privacy, patience, and understanding as we move through this transition as a family."
Burruss, aged 49, and Tucker, 52, first crossed paths in 2011 during the filming of Season 4 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. They became engaged in January 2013 and tied the knot in April 2014. The couple shares two children—son Ace, 9, and daughter Blaze, 5—alongside Burruss’ daughter Riley, 23, and Tucker’s daughter Kaela, 29 from previous relationships.
Their prenup discussions were tense prior to marriage, particularly concerning a clause that mandated one party leave the family home within 30 days if the marriage failed. Burruss emphasized, "You get what you get and I get what I get." Despite these tensions, the couple sustained their union for over a decade.
As reported by Celebrity Net Worth, Burruss holds a net worth of around $30 million, whereas Tucker’s net worth is estimated at approximately $400,000.
