John Cena Thanks Shah Rukh Khan Calls Meeting Life-Changing

Hollywood star and WWE legend John Cena recently opened up about his profound admiration for Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan, describing their meeting as an “emotional and life-changing” moment. The exchange of appreciation between the two global stars began after Shah Rukh participated in an online Q&A session ahead of his 60th birthday. When asked about Cena, Shah Rukh warmly praised him as “very humble and kind” and referred to him as a “rock star.”

He revealed that he discovered the talk at a transformative phase, and it helped him introspect and move towards self-growth. “He did a TED Talk that found me at the right time in my life and his words were beyond inspirational to me. They helped orchestrate a change in my life,” Cena said, crediting Shah Rukh’s wisdom for helping him recognize “all the jackpots” life has offered him.

Cena also spoke fondly about their first in-person meeting, which took place at a high-profile wedding event in Mumbai. The wrestler-actor recalled the emotional significance of being able to thank someone whose words had profoundly impacted his life. “It was just such an emotional moment to be able to shake a person's hand that affects your life so drastically and tell them specifically what they did. He was amazing. He couldn't have been more empathetic and kind and sharing. It really was wonderful. I was awestruck, starstruck. It was fantastic,” Cena shared, adding that the memory will forever stay with him.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is currently shooting for his upcoming action-drama film titled King. The project, helmed by director Siddharth Anand, marks the first time Shah Rukh will be seen sharing screen space with his daughter Suhana Khan.
