On Saturday morning, an aircraft laden with over 100 tonnes of relief supplies took flight from Sharjah International Airport, aiming to aid the Palestinian populace in the Gaza Strip.
This initiative is part of the “Humaid Air Bridge” program, commissioned under the guidance of H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman. This operation is executed in conjunction with the wider efforts of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.
Included in this shipment are approximately 3,300 food parcels, meticulously curated to fulfill the basic dietary needs of families residing in Gaza. This aid underscores the UAE’s continual dedication to humanitarian efforts in times of crisis.
Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 is enhancing its humanitarian outreach, featuring a fully operational field hospital alongside the UAE Floating Hospital stationed in Al Arish, Egypt. Together, these facilities can accommodate nearly 100 patients and are staffed with expert teams specializing in various medical fields including surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics, and intensive care.
To complement medical initiatives, six desalination plants have been established to ensure a daily supply of clean drinking water for residents of Gaza, addressing critical water shortages in the region.
The UAE persistently commits itself to delivering crucial humanitarian assistance and essential services, aiding the Palestinian populace during these challenging times.
