Ranveer Singh’s latest venture, the spy thriller Dhurandhar, continues to be a remarkable box office hit in 2025. After two weeks in cinemas, the film shows no indication of slowing down. As it reaches its 15th day in theaters, Dhurandhar has crossed the impressive ₹470 crore milestone, showcasing its strong appeal among audiences nationwide.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film premiered on December 5, initially receiving mixed reviews. However, positive word of mouth combined with passionate fan support allowed it to build significant momentum. Packed houses, recurring audiences, and robust weekend attendance have elevated it into blockbuster territory.

According to the latest data from industry tracker Sacnilk, by Friday evening, Dhurandhar garnered around ₹11.69 crore, bringing its total box office earnings to roughly ₹472.19 crore in just 15 days. Trade analysts predict the film will surpass ₹480 crore by the day's end, marking yet another impressive achievement.

The first week's performance was particularly formidable, with a total of ₹207.25 crore earned within seven days, outperforming Pushpa 2's Hindi version record of ₹196.50 crore in the same period. Moreover, contrary to typical box office trends, the film experienced remarkable growth during its second week, accruing approximately ₹253.25 crore, a truly rare feat in the current cinematic landscape.

As it enters its third week, the film continues to draw viewers, yet it now faces fresh competition with the much-anticipated Hollywood release, Avatar: Fire and Ash, directed by James Cameron. The film’s stronghold at the box office will be closely monitored in the days to come.

Centered substantially in Pakistan, Dhurandhar is a high-energy spy thriller in which Ranveer Singh portrays an Indian spy infiltrating terror networks in the Lyari region. The narrative intertwines action, suspense, and emotional richness, resonating well with the audience. Joining him are notable actors R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and Sara Arjun, adding depth to the cast.

The film is produced by Jio Studios, overseen by Jyoti Deshpande, along with Aditya and Lokesh Dhar’s B62 Studios. It marks the first installment in a two-part series. The plot follows Ranveer's character, Hamza Ali Mazari, later unveiled as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, an undercover agent navigating enemy territory. The sequel is already confirmed for a March 19, 2026 release.

With robust earnings, sustained audience engagement, and a sequel on the horizon, Dhurandhar has undoubtedly established itself as one of the most prosperous Hindi films of the year. Its ongoing success at the box office reflects not only star magnetism but also a growing audience craving large-scale, narrative-driven action films.
