Canada Minister Extends Wishes On Vaisakhi Festival

The Government of Canada has extended warm greetings to the Sikh community on the occasion of Vaisakhi. In an official statement, Marc Miller, Minister of Canadian Identity and Culture, recognized the importance of the festival and its deep cultural and spiritual significance.

Vaisakhi marks the historic formation of the Khalsa by Guru Gobind Singh Ji in the late 17th century. The Khalsa represents a community of committed Sikh believers dedicated to values such as equality, courage, and justice. The minister highlighted that this occasion is not only a celebration but also a reminder of the core teachings of Sikhism.
