Manama: Bahrain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, and Spain’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares, engaged in a telephone discussion aimed at reinforcing bilateral relations and fostering global collaboration.
As reported by the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), both officials emphasized the robust historical ties between their countries, underlining the significance of enhancing cooperation across diverse sectors. The dialogue centered on expanding partnerships that align with the mutual interests of their nations and citizens.
During their conversation, they also shared insights regarding Bahrain’s role as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC). The ministers highlighted Bahrain’s presidency in April and its continuous efforts toward fostering international peace and stability.
Both Bahrain and Spain reiterated their commitment to promoting initiatives designed to bolster global security and encourage effective multilateral cooperation.
