An FIR has been lodged against actor Ajaz Khan, known from Bigg Boss, for disseminating fake news and highly objectionable content on his social media platforms. The case was filed at the Crime Branch in Indore.

Rajesh Dandotiya, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Indore) from the Crime Branch, confirmed that Khan was called in after the FIR was filed.

“An FIR was initiated against actor Ajaz Khan for sharing false information and inappropriate content via social media. Following the FIR, he received a notice and reported to the station for his statement. His mobile device has been confiscated due to a two-month-old investigation. A total of 32 accounts related to the issue were blocked, and complaints have been registered against 68 accounts,” the ADCP stated.

The case revolves around allegations that a video featuring extremely objectionable material was circulated from Ajaz Khan's social media account. The actor was interrogated for three hours upon his arrival at the police station. Legal procedures were activated accordingly.

This isn’t the first time Ajaz Khan has encountered legal troubles due to his social media conduct. He previously faced allegations for an offensive post aimed at a YouTuber and his family, which reportedly included defamatory and obscene content, alongside derogatory remarks and falsehoods.

In October, the Delhi High Court granted him anticipatory bail, mandating a bond of Rs 30,000 and a surety in case of subsequent arrest.

Authorities have stressed that monitoring of fake news dissemination and offensive content on social media platforms is a priority, and they will pursue legal action against violators rigorously.
