The second indicator includes twitching of the eyelids or limbs. This involuntary muscle movement often points to low magnesium levels, essential for proper nerve and muscle functionality. A lack of magnesium can heighten nerve sensitivity, leading to twitching.

The third symptom involves clicking sounds in the joints. While some consider joint noises to be typical, they may also signal deficiencies in vitamin D3 or calcium, both vital for bone strength. When these nutrients are inadequate, the joints may feel compromised, resulting in audible sounds during movement.

The fourth sign Dr. Sethi noted is premature greying hair. Many attribute early greying to genetics, but deficiencies in vitamin B12 or copper can also play a role. Vitamin B12 supports healthy blood cells and oxygen delivery to hair roots, while copper aids in melanin production, the pigment responsible for hair color. Low levels of these nutrients can lead to early greying.

The final indicator is easy bruising; if you notice bruises from minor bumps, it may indicate deficiencies in vitamin C or vitamin K1. Vitamin C is crucial for collagen formation, which strengthens skin and tissues, while vitamin K1 is important for proper blood clotting. An insufficiency in these vitamins may weaken the skin, resulting in more frequent bruising.

These seemingly minor signs shouldn't be overlooked as they may point to a need for a more balanced intake of proteins, vitamins, and minerals. Incorporating foods such as green vegetables, nuts, fruits, dairy products, eggs, and whole grains can naturally enhance nutrient levels.
