Emirates Introduces Airbus A350 for All Baghdad Services by 2026

Post by : Bianca Hayes

Commencing on January 1, 2026, Emirates, renowned as the world’s largest international carrier, will begin operating its cutting-edge Airbus A350 on each of its weekly seven flights to Baghdad. This transition marks a notable upgrade from the present Boeing 777 service, which only operates four times a week.

This new initiative guarantees a consistent and exceptional travel experience for passengers on every flight. The A350 will feature three service classes: 32 lie-flat Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 configuration, 21 Premium Economy seats arranged in a 2-3-2 format, and 259 roomy Economy Class seats in a 3-3-3 layout. Travelers can look forward to Emirates' award-winning inflight entertainment, spacious aisles, whisper-quiet cabins, and advanced lighting systems aimed at mitigating jet lag.

Having first deployed the A350 to Baghdad in August 2025 on select flights, this full weekly rollout underscores Emirates' commitment to enhancing traveler comfort and reliability. It also reflects the airline's longstanding dedication to Iraq and the broader Middle East region.

With its modern features, cinematic inflight experience, and a focus on passenger wellbeing, Emirates' comprehensive A350 rollout promises an unparalleled journey for those traveling to Baghdad. Tickets are available through emirates.com, the Emirates App, retail outlets, contact centers, or via travel agents.
