Parades, green rivers, and White House events mark St Patrick’s Day celebrations across major US cit

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, engaged in discussions with Pakistan's President Asif Ali Zardari at Za’abeel Palace in Dubai. The conversation underscored the importance of fortifying bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation across mutual interests.
In attendance were His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance, along with His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The dialogue included strategies for boosting economic, developmental, and strategic collaboration between the UAE and Pakistan while exchanging thoughts on regional and global matters, emphasizing the need for international stability, security, and sustainable growth.
Sheikh Mohammed reaffirmed the UAE's dedication to reinforcing its strategic partnership with Pakistan, highlighting their historical associations. President Zardari commended Sheikh Mohammed's efforts in fostering bilateral ties and urged continued collaboration in economic and developmental initiatives.
Several senior UAE officials attended, such as Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Sheikh Hasher bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum.
On the Pakistani side, attendees comprised First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, Bakhtawar Bhutto-Zardari, Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, Presidential Advisor Asim Hussain, Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan, and Brigadier Sajid Akbar.
In addition to the main discussions, Sheikh Mohammed also interacted with business leaders and government officials to ponder over enhancements in the business climate and the strengthening of public-private partnerships. He further recognized outstanding graduates from Zayed II Military College and Dubai Police Academy, lauding their accomplishments and emphasizing the importance of nurturing national talent for the country's future and security.
