The report highlights the UAE's first-place ranking in the Gulf and seventh globally for social cohesion, signifying a robust and united societal framework. Economically, the UAE is charting a clear course through income diversification, aiming for a knowledge-based economy with an emphasis on future-driven sectors.
The nation has embarked on strategic initiatives to secure sustainable growth. Notable among these is the UAE National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031, set to utilize technology as a cornerstone for development. Additionally, comprehensive plans for food and water security extend until 2036 and 2051. Ambitious smart city projects are underway in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Fujairah, with visions stretching to 2040. The UAE is also sharpening its focus on technology, space, renewable energy, and advanced manufacturing sectors.
