An essential humanitarian flight from the UAE has taken off from Al Maktoum International Airport, heading to Egypt's Al Arish, to assist those impacted by the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.
This mission is part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, a comprehensive relief initiative by the UAE aimed at extending humanitarian aid to Palestinians in Gaza.
Officials have revealed that the aircraft is transporting 100 tonnes of urgent supplies, which encompass medical tools, essential medicines, nutritional aid for children, and festive Eid clothing for families enduring hardships.
The relief effort is being executed in partnership with Emirates Red Crescent, International Charity Organisation, and the Dar Al Ber Society.
Since its inception in November 2023, Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 has successfully delivered over 123,000 tonnes of humanitarian aid to Gaza, following the directives of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
UAE officials noted that this initiative underlines the nation’s enduring dedication to providing essential humanitarian support and urgent relief to communities in crisis worldwide.
