Trump's Approval Rating Falls to Record Low Amid Economic and Foreign Policy Woes

Post by : Bianca Hayes

According to an NBC News poll, President Donald Trump’s approval rating has plummeted to its lowest point since he began his term in January 2025.

Conducted from March 30 to April 13, the survey illustrated that 63% of adults disapprove of Trump’s governance, while only 37% show approval. This is the lowest mark recorded by NBC since his inauguration. The poll surveyed 32,433 adults across the U.S. and has a margin of error of ±1.8 percentage points.

This decline is significantly influenced by increased public discontent regarding the nation's economic status and ongoing U.S. engagement in the Iran conflict. Many voters have voiced concerns about escalating economic challenges and the repercussions of foreign policy choices.

Such a drop in approval ratings poses potential challenges for the Republican Party ahead of the forthcoming midterm elections, as voter sentiment will be crucial in influencing political outcomes.
